How to Use Video as a Texture in Blender

This quick tutorial will show you how to easily add video as a texture. This was originally going to be a video tutorial but, halfway through it, I felt like I was making too big of a deal out of something really simple so, the tutorial is now in a FlashPaper format and also as a PDF file.

Enjoy!

You can also get this as a one-page PDF file.

So what file formats can be imported?

.MOV from Quick time and WMV of Windows Media Player works fine for me. (haven't tested more formats yet)

I was wondering, is it a way to make the sound of the video part of the texture? or I should do it apart in Sequence and or in the Sound Block Buttons?

Thanks for the tutorials and the feedbacks!

Could this possibly be used in the game engine?

I believe the game engine now supports video textures directly. Some more info here:
