This is the first in a series of tutorials focusing on video titling techniques in Blender. We'll take a look at how to setup your workspace, create your titling text, and animate your titling on top of a video.
Using the basic techniques learned in this video, you'll be well on your way to creating interesting titling for your videos!
Here's a preview movie of the titling created in the tutorial:

Cool tutorial, but you could achieve the 'jumping' storyboard behavior much easier by selecting 'Constant' as key interpolation mode instead of moving the individual keys around.
Keep up the great work!

Tobi
@tobias
Thanks! The Constant mode works great until you want to scroll the storyboard. I couldn't find a way to achieve a Linear interpolation for that section of the keys.
It would be great if you could have mixed interpolation modes within a single channel. Maybe you can and I'm just not aware.
@kernon
I didn't think about that, you're right. I don't know of a way to mix interpolation modes in a single channel either... Didn't think far enough, sorry! ;)
No apologies necessary. I actually did the same thing. I was creating the video for that section, using the Constant mode, and when I got to the scrolling part...duh!. I had to backtrack and edit that out.
The streaming tutorial doesn't seem to work well under Linux.
How much later before the flash file is available for download

I have jumped the gun with my query.
Downloading the file now.
Thanks Kernon

I just love this tutorial! While learning Blender from tutorials one can create a lot of stills and animations and with this I can organize my output putting credits, titles and times into one file that is great to show off! Thank you. I'm truly amazed at the volume of tutorials and hope that you got that cloning machine for X-mas this year that must be needed because I for one will be looking for "Video Titling Techniques #2 - Beyond the Basics)!! Thanks again.
