Blender Newbies DVD-ROM Review and Comments

I recently was made aware of a review done of my tutorial dvd-rom. I think it's a pretty fair review and thought it might be nice to share it. The review, done by Terry Wallwork, is but one of several reviews that can be found on their website for several Blender-related products.

You can read the review, here.

Also, here are some of the comments received from people that ordered the DVD:

from Tony Mullen (author of two major Blender books)

I just got the Blendernewbies disk in the mail. I have to hand it to you, this is one nice package you've put together. You've really pulled out all the stops to create what looks to be the best single resource for Blender beginners anywhere. Really nice touch adding the offline wiki and the links to appropriate wiki pages to go with each tutorial. Seriously, I did expect it to be professionally done, but nevertheless I'm pleasantly surprised by what a good job you did. Very impressive stuff!

Thanks Kernon for a putting together a package
that not only looks great, but is a great wealth
of info for newbies like me. I especially like it for the ability to use it on my laptop, while waiting for the PC to be free, so I can use Blender. It definitely is a great value for the
money.

Thanks for your interest! Yes, PayPal is the only payment method that I currently have in place. I'm not sure what the issue might be, but I do know that you have to use the same email that you registered with PayPal. Also, it would be best to use the button on the DVD on the order page.

Sorry for the troubles, I hope this helped. If not, I would recommend contacting the PayPal support. I can't think of anything else that might be going wrong.

Thanks again!

Kernon, I just wanted to thank you for making the DVD+CD set! I was blown away by the quality of everything, from the excellent sound/video resolution of the videos to the disk itself. By using your video tutorials and the off-line wiki included on the disk I was able to get the hang of Blender enough that it has become my primary 3D program. Shipping was fast, and the content was well worth the investment. This is a must have for any person seeking to learn Blender!
